Concierto Académico en Honor a Santa Ines | State Choir's 1st recital of the year!

Hello, Dear Hivers! | Hola, Queridos Hivers!

Last Thursday we held the first state choir recital of the year, and it was a total success! ✨

The concert was at 10 am, but we had to be at Santa Inés Church two hours early to vocalize, and fix some stuff with the other choirs of the state, like sound testing, the entry, the spots of each singer, etc. The only mishap was that unfortunately some towns couldn't make it, but hopefully they will for the next recital!

We had to wait a little bit because one of the choirs had problems with their ride, but the wait was really enjoyable. I shared with my partners, took pictures, recorded videos, until it was time to start. We got into our positions and slowly entered the church in line.

The audience was very excited! When we got in they bursted in applauses and cheers. It was beautiful, I felt like a whole celebrity lol.

Alright, so...

First, only the state choir sang some A capella songs.

Then, the children's choir joined us to sing the rest of the songs.

And it was magnificent!

Even though it wasn't perfect, we did a great job! And being part of such a huge concert full of love and hard work, makes me a really proud musician!
