In order to accommodate all Musical genres under African Music, we thought it wise to make this necessary and important shift of title from "Highlife Weekend on Hive" to Afri-tunes Weekend

Afri-tunes will accommodate all Music Genres and styles unique to Africans, this include:

  • Highlife
  • Makossa
  • Soukous
  • Sebene
  • Fuji
  • Juju
  • Ogené
  • Afro-beat

You don't have to restrict yourself to Highlife, if you love Afro-beat or Makossa more 😉 Share that loving African tunes you love best!!!!

We are calling on Musicians; singers and instrumentalists, who love African tunes to join us in making this project a wonderful one.

Let us make every Hivean stay glued to their phones on Weekends; smiling, nodding heads, dancing and vibing to the African Tunes.

AIM OF THE "HIGHLIFE WEEKEND ON HIVE" EVENT

The Afri-tunes Weekend on Hive is a weekly event that is founded on Hive to nourish and enrich the Hive Musical Family (and the Hive Community at large) with African Tunes and Musical Genres.

It is our sole aim to spread the love, the calmness, the smiles, the culture, the songs and the dance associated with African tunes.

We also intend to use this means to drive engagement in the Hive Musical Community and enrich the Hive Community.

PLATFORMS

  • The Hive Music Community @music-community will be our home and the Platform where we will post our amazing Afri-tunes Contents.

This is done with full adherence to the description and rules of Music Community

  • Participants will be encouraged to use the following tags: #music and the unique tags of #afri-tunes and #africanweekend in their posts. We hope to get the support of @beatzchain so that we can officially include the #beatzchain tag in our posts for this weekly event.

HIVE ON-BOARDING PLANS

We also intend to use this event to reach out to artists, musicians and dancers who aren't on Hive. We will invite those who are talented but are not part of Hive. These musicians will send their videos and presentation to the coordinators of this event: @ksam and @obaro.

The authors will receive their due reward upon payout. This will give them first-hand experience of a platform where they can be rewarded for their content, talents, efforts and sacrifices.

Only 3 external authors will be allowed in a week. The opportunity will be a one-time opportunity for them and they will be encouraged to join Hive in order to build relationships on Hive, share more of their contents and benefit from it as well.

REWARD PLANS FOR EXTERNAL AUTHORS

Hive Community rewards authors and creators of contents for their hardwork and quality content. On our own part, we shall also direct the reward to the author, however certain percentage will automatically go to 3speaks, Hive Music Community and the co-ordinator who posted the video.

For external authors, the HBD cash equivalent will be sent to him/her and the Hive Power will be sent as Hive Coin to his/her Hive Wallet (Newly created Hive account/Trust Wallet or exchange platforms) or both will be sent as cash. The evidence of the transaction will be shown in the following week's compilation report, for transparency sake.

Reward Breakdown for Guests

11% automatically goes to 3speaks
15% to the coordinator
4% to @hive-193816 (Hive Music Owner Account)
70% to the Original author of the post.

Rewards will be made upon payout!

You can contact us if you have talented musicans who aren't part of Hive but you want them to have personal experience of one of the benefits of joining Hive (rewards). This will certainly convince them!!!
