When we make decisions haphazardly without thinking them straight, we are liable to err. And when we err, regrets and pains accompany us. Most times we are haunted by the guilt, and some may follow us for lifetime.
In another perspective, we get used to those actions that we don't see anything wrong with them. This, most times, doesn't lead to change.
But, if we can overcome our weaknesses and find reasons to change and become a better person, I believe it can give room for reconciliation with the person(s) we hurt.

It is extremely important to think well before acting inpulsively and thus avoid hurting others.
