GOOD DAY FELLOW HIVERS,
This video was shot in the latter part of 2020. I wrote the song in response to an online art contest on Instagram hosted by Katung Aduwak, a Nigerian scriptwriter and producer based abroad, which one of my friends told me about. The contest asked for artistic presentations not exceeding a minute in length, depicting the bad state of governance in Nigeria. I got to know about the contest just over a day before the deadline. I got to work on it immediately and a few hours later, I had finished writing the song. I then contacted one of friends to help me shoot and edit the video before I posted it.
The song lyrics summarize the current state of Nigeria in my opinion. The government takes everything for themselves, learning nothing for the masses. Nigeria has such a great potential to succeed for we are small on the global scale due to the greed and self-centeredness of our leaders, amongst other things. The song ends on a hopeful note, staying that I hope to see the day Nigeria becomes a force to reckon with in the world.

Nigeria's government is focused on business rather than the people, and politics has turned into a get-rich-quick scheme. Your song accurately reflects Nigeria's current state of governance; the optimistic part is the conclusion; I still hope Nigeria will improve, but it will take time. This is a good one, bro👍
Until our leaders really become accountable to the masses, I fear for the future of this nation. Sadly, the hope I connoted at the end of the song seems to become fainter and fainter as the years go by. However, we still hold on to whatever little hope is left.
