Good day fellow HIVERS,
This video shows me playing a section of a classical piece, Canon in D, as a fingerstyle acoustic guitar piece. Canon in D was composed by Johann Pachelbel sometime in the 18th century. Centuries later, this piece remains one of the most relevant classical pièces, used for multiple occasions such as weddings, burials, graduations and some much more.
I hope you enjoy this small rendition of it. Thanks for stopping by.

Bro this is very nice, not everytime one gets to see a Canon in D played on the guitar
Boss man! Been a while. Definitely, the piece is one that isn't commonly associated with the guitar. I've almost finished scoring it on the guitar tho. Thanks so much for your kind words.
I always wanted to be a pro fingerstyle guitarist but that was a dream that died a long time ago. Nice one mate
Wow! The fact that you even know what fingerstyle guitar is means that you must have gotten to some certain level of playing. Maybe the dream can live again😅😅. I can admit it's very tough tho, and there's no teacher that can teacher someone that style around here. Makes it harder. YouTube and myself have been my teacher. I know I've improved a lot sha. I'm happy for that.
I learned most of what I know about the guitar from youtube. It is not easy because a guitar is such a technical instrument and you if you don't get your technique right you might develop bad playing habits that will follow you throughout your journey as a guitarist.
You're definitely right! I picked up a number of bad habits that I am just trying to correct now that I'm more knowledgeable about it
