Last week I was recording the first episode of song request seasons 3, @edje won 10 HIVE for his song to be picked!

I was of course documenting the whole process, and I made a video about it, I don't know if I would do that every time because it represented an extra work, and situations to think of.

First of all, congratulations for that amazing work you did here. The idea how to record, how to block the reverberation or background sounds... the practising, recording, re-recording (this is so familiar 🤦🏻♀️😂). A lot of hard work and time, time, time.
The final result? 😇🎵 Is there a stronger word than amazing or awesome?? Congratulation to that, the environment of the image is beautiful and seeing on a video clip someone playing the guitar in the middle of a green field is liberating.
Thank you thank you thank you a thousand times, after posting the video yesterday, after spending days of editing this (the first version was 15 minutes long), I was like "but who cares about these things?", so it feels good that someone understand what I was trying to capture, and especially another fellow (talented) musician!
I think that's how I want all my videos to be now haha. I think it would require a lot more organisation for you to play on the field 😁. Maybe possible with an acoustic piano (no need for electricity)?
I think musicians should record and post more behind scenes video, especially those who go the extra length to create something super cool. Many people don't realise how much time someone can spend on creating music and videos. Really great you've taken the time to record behind the scene shots and created this video for all of us.
You know what? I am gonna do it everytime I release a song request!

Really great work edprivat did! Why don't you try and record some behind the scene / recording video's? Like I mentioned in another comment to this post, many people don't realise how much time someone buts into creating a new music recording. Many o HIVE may just go for a single take, but I know, you don't. Would be cool to share your process with us (and the world :)).

Hm, never thought about that, just did a similar thing when I showed my first steps in recording with audio interface...but it was not a real behind the scenes video. I will see, thank you for your engagement :)
Never gone, but a bit quite. Work behind the scenes still continues. Huge backlog on chats I need to attend to, but this will likely be this Saturday, or Friday evening. Life is keeping me busy busy busy :)
Looking fwd to see behind the scene videos coming from you. I was thinking, I can try one as well, how I create a post, but that doesn't sound too interesting I think. Food for thought anyway :) Maybe I shall pick up my other challenge I gave myself: Create some elevator pitch videos and GIFs for HIVE, LEOFINANCE and other projects like KOIN and try and get our 'marketing' people to spread them. Lots of ideas, but little time these days.

Behind the scenes videos from me, I am still a bit nervous if I even have to speak just a few words... I feel my accent as ridiculous, so just can not step over that..
I would love to see it ☺️💖 With some minimalistic electronic music in the background, edje writing, writing, and talking to Grammarly, preparing some food and dancing at the same time, hunting down the invited people for ch. not ch. 😆

Owww yea, all good! Started with HIVE more than 4 years ago, and rarely not attended to my daily tasks. Maybe have been a little slower on blogging/chatting and all, but I must say: Can't think of a live without HIVE. D*rn: That sounds like I'm an adict hahahaha
Behind the Scene video can also be without Voice :) Think of pre-voice cinema, or something like that :) It can already be interesting to see a few shots of actions you do with some cool piano music at the background. Or, you could get your husband to do a voice over, like a narrator. You can than also post the material two times, by you and your husband hahahahaha
Here you go. You could do this as well! Owwww Owwwww, you're giving me a challenge. Need to get someone filming me. Owww boy, if I try and do this, I really need to take some time to get this done. Never edited video etc etc etc. But always nice to learn. May take considerable time before I can make one, like more months than weeks. But, I'll think about it and see if I can get to something that is interesting enough and doable for me to create... as I need to find time and I may need to buy myself a new laptop since mine is getting a bit slow and may not be good enough anymore for video editing :)
Hahahaha that was what it was for me a few months, with 'work' added into the row of actions :) Now, it's still the same, but more emphasis on work, and less on hive and a little social life in the physical space :)

Don't worry about who would film you. When you are the owner of the finca, we can be there in some two or three hours by a ferry so we can help in that task... :)

There are already good video editors application for android. You could learn it in no time.
My aptop is also old, so bad that even when I write a post, and have many tabs open it gets blocked...Happened already a few times, when I am copying youtube links into the post, for example.

Hahahaha, I seem to give others ideas that'll cost them shitload of time while I just spend a few minutes on the post and comments to read and make those suggestions. Need to become more active myself {LOL} Going thorugh my backlog of posts and comments today, that's a start at least :)

At the same time I was skinny at 145 lbs (65kg), and gained 50 pounds, I am at 192 (87 kilos), and I am still working out everyday, so I am making sure to transform that good fat into something else, I call it "fuscle" (fat muscle).

LOVE this behind the scene video! The mask with the cross you showed hahahahaha. Man, Man, you put a lot of thought into it. I thought: I didn't see the dark in the song video, but you decided it was not possible. One needs to be able to adapt when the original concept doesn't work and I think you handled that very well. You always produce in this order? First instrument, then voice, then video? Later is obvious: Would be a bit silly to first shoot the video while not singing or playing the song :) Love the place you live! This video shows much better the nature you are in. South West France says your profile, in or close to Cahor area maybe?
