Sometimes it's fun to just make something in a certain style. I'm writing music for a feature film at the moment and this scene called for a jazz piece. Think 30s/40s jazz with maybe a French twist. Autumn Leaves - that kind of thing. This is what I came up with, it works really well in the scene and it comes 2 times in the movie. 1 time as background music with just piano and later for clarinet, violin and orchestra. I picture this could fit in a Woody Allen movie as well.
