In Paul's commitment and consecration to preaching the gospel he didn't feel it was something he could do. It was a necessity for him. or from, there was nothing to glory of and he didn't see it as a competition. We ought to see the Gospel as Christ sees it and pursue it just like the apostles pursued it.

Paul the apostle was committed to preaching the gospel because it is a commission from Christ. There is a must in our lives, a necessity laid on our shoulders to preach the gospel. Bonds and afflictions didn't matter to Paul, what mattered to him was preaching the gospel. As ministers and preachers of the gospel, we ought to make the gospel without charge as we go to minister and preach the gospel, one thing that is important is "that they may be saved".
