Soccer Saturday , A Way To Stay Active!

Happy weekend Actifit family ! It's indeed another beautiful Saturday morning to play some good football with the boys . Playing football during this particular point in time is a habit I've cultivated over the years and trust me when I say it has become part and parcel of me .

Usually I hit the football field which is less than a 10 minutes drive from my abode after completing my daily routine physical fitness exercises . Once I'm at the pitch, I jog round it for few minutes. This is helps my body ready and activated for the incoming intense football actions.

Our gameplay is usually a 5-aside set with 10 minutes interval. The winning team stays on why the losing team exit the field for another team to try their luck against the winning team.

Teams are selected at random using a ballot system which is free and fair as everyone gets a team to play for. I happened to be in Team B today . I scored just a goal and made an assist as well . My team lost once , won once and drew twice.

I'll be looking forward to next time out but till then I'll keep on staying active and you should do the same too . Happy weekend once more!!
