Day 2: The Path of Whispering Roots – January 2, 2025

Today, I continued my journey through the Foggy Forests of Januara. With 5270 steps, I ventured deeper into the mystical woods, but the dense fog made navigation challenging. The path from the old map I discovered yesterday led me to an area known as the Whispering Roots.

As I carefully made my way through the twisting roots of ancient trees, I heard faint murmurs—almost as if the roots themselves were speaking to each other. They seemed to guide me, but every now and then, a wrong step would lead me into a dead end where the mist grew even thicker.

What I achieved today:

I made progress, but the Whispering Roots slowed me down.

The old map helped me spot subtle marks on the trees pointing toward the Circle of Stones, my next destination.

The fog feels alive, and I can’t shake the feeling that I’m not alone in these woods.

Tomorrow:
Will I reach the Circle of Stones or continue struggling through the maze of roots? It all depends on how many steps I take.
