I can't even imagine 49C heat! We've been having a wet spring so far and it averages about 16-19C. When it gets up to 26C I'm already going too hot.

As for having an 11 year old daughter, enjoy it while you can. Once my kids turned 14/15 it got a whole lot harder. 11 was a good time :)
