It's because the people I know who like swimming that often need to make the hard choice between using nearby swimming pools (within 2 kilometers) that are very crowded or faraway ones (more than 10 kilometers away) that are generally clean and not crowded, especially during the sunny season. 🤔😏 !LUV !CTP

If one likes to swim and goes to the pool for swimming rather than playing or to be in the water, I think the choice is quite easy: the "far" away ones.... !LUV !CTP

There are only a handful of people I personally know who swim as a sport. 🤔 The rest are swimming just as for recreation. 🤓 !LUV !CTP

It depends a bit where recreation stops and sports starts. What I'm doing at the moment (and in general 1x per week) I'd call recreation. Really taking part in competitions, and especially training for this 4-5 times per week - at least - I'd call sports. How about you? !LUV !CTP

I consider any sport where the participants are having fun with each other also as recreation, no matter how often it is done. 🤓😏 !LUV !CTP

ok, good point !LUV !CTP

That means people can often do both recreation and sports at the same time, making the most out of their time. 🤓 !LUV !PGM
