Completely unexpected, the rain poured down last night………..😅
Phoenix doesn’t have thick fur, and you quickly realize she does not like rain, or darkness !😮
“ Come on girl, it’s late morning you need to go out for a walk!” 😊
Less than five minutes outside, and Phoenix was headed back to the house!🙄
After several visits to “ Grandpa, and Grandma’s” house, you start to learn the “tricks” to walking Phoenix ……..😇
As my son will tell you, Phoenix is a big dog, trapped in a small body!😍
Late at night, when it’s Phoenix spooky dark, this girl absolutely will not go outside!🤔
Silvertop has learned the secret……..
I walk to our mudroom outside door, disguise my voice, knock on the door, and state……
“Hello is anyone home!”😆
Suddenly a VERY LARGE ATTACK DOG comes running to protect grandpa and grandma!
“Hi Phoenix, do you need to go outside?”
This works every time!😇
“Look Phoenix, the rain has stopped! I think they have some new very large “Dogs” just up the road at our neighbors house, let’s go check them out!”😊
Phoenix was happy the rain had stopped , and Silvertop was relieved!
We were both hiking………🤗

Those look like Dutch skies! It poored down here again last days. Below my house there is a foot of water still. (Concrete foundation so no harm can be done)
