There has been a rush of warm temperatures the past couple of days and I felt like taking advantage of it with a leisurely walk to the lake.
Along the way I came across some gorgeous foliage, although the majority of trees are now bare after some strong winds and rain that knocked all the leaves off the branches.
Nearly all the boats have been stored for the winter so the water was peaceful and quiet. Usually on these walks the parks would be busy with activity but everything today was eerily quiet. I think people may have already turned in for the winter despite the sudden warm temperatures.
My PokémonGo experience also indicates fewer people out and about as I was able to take over all three Pokegyms that I came across. They had all been occupied for such a long time that their health had been eliminated. The craziest thing I’ve seen is one of my Pokémon has been occupying a gym for over two weeks!
