Yesterday, we put on some fairly warm clothes and headed out with the dogs to walk around our neighborhood. The weather was nice and pleasant—there was an occasional cold breeze, but nothing bothersome.
I had a great time with everyone, as always, but sometimes I drifted too much into my own thoughts and felt a bit detached from my surroundings. It happens to me occasionally, and I need to be mindful of it and manage it.
Dogs are honestly such funny little creatures, and they make life warmer and more full of energy. Our pups are really sweet and good-tempered. They wandered around a lot yesterday and had a great time.
