Wow, it was really cold this morning, around -6 degrees Celsius. Have you ever experienced "brain freeze" just from breathing in through your nose? I walked around Luiseninsel through the palace gardens. I walked at a brisk pace rather than doing interval walking so that I stayed warm. It's a holiday and I actually wanted to go on a longer morning bike ride, but I'm glad I decided against it. I was thoroughly frozen when I got home and warmed myself up from the inside with some delicious green tea. The royal swan family was also out and about; as far as I know, they don't feel the cold. Grey herons circled above the carp pond and the squirrels were also lively, jumping around and darting up and down the trees. Despite the cold, I captured the sunrise with the Venus de Medici and a few icy impressions for you to marvel at.
Wow, richtig amtlich Winterkalt um die -6 grad heute morgen. Habt ihr schonmal „brainfreeze“ nur durch das einatmen durch die Nase bekommen? Ich bin die Luiseninselrunde durch den Schlosspark gegangen. Eher durchgehend im strammen Marsch anstatt Intervall-Walking damit ich warm blieb. Es ist zwar Feiertag und ich wollte eigentlich mit dem Rad eine längere Morgentour machen, aber bin froh mich dagegen entschieden zu haben, ich war gut durchgefroren als ich wieder zuhaus war und mich von meinem leckeren grünen Tee von innen aufwärmen liess. Die königliche Schwanenfamilie war auch unterwegs, die haben ja keine Kälteempfinden soweit ich weiss. Graureiher kreisten überm Karpfenteich und die Eichhörnchen waren auch lebendig am umherspringen und die Bäume rauf und runter flitzen. Den Sonnenaufgang mit der Venus von Medici und ein paar eisige Impressionen hab ich euch trotz der Kälte zum bestaunen eingefangen und mitgebracht.
