Frost bit the air like a quiet drumroll as the day began. I stepped into a cold winter morning around three degrees and moved with interval walking along my long Schleusenlandroute, with the palace gardens opening the tour like a familiar stage set. I felt great that morning, not rushed and not numb, but awake in a steady way. At the hidden creek in the Schleusenland, I practiced breathing and meditation, letting my thoughts drift like leaves in slow water. It was a good morning for motives. There was not much light, yet the light felt interesting, like a whispered story. A crescent moon hung above the well lit palace, while construction lights across the river glowed in the trees along the Schlosspark shore. I captured a long exposure of the great lock weir with a hint sunrise behind it, and I brought you those beautiful images to enjoy them also of course.
Kalte Luft schlug wie ein leiser Trommelwirbel an, als der Tag begann. Ich ging an einem winterkalten Morgen bei etwa drei Grad los und bewegte mich im Intervall Walking entlang meiner grossen Schleusenlandroute, mit dem Schlosspark als Eröffnung wie eine vertraute Bühne. Ich fühlte mich an diesem Morgen grossartig, nicht gehetzt und nicht abgestumpft, sondern ruhig und wach. An dem versteckten Bach im Schleusenland machte ich Atem und Meditationsübungen, und meine Gedanken trieben wie Blätter im langsamen Wasser. Es war ein guter Morgen für Motive. Es gab zwar wenig Licht, doch es wirkte spannend, wie eine leise erzählte Geschichte. Eine Mondsichel stand über dem gut beleuchteten Schloss, während Baustellenlicht vom anderen Ufer in den Bäumen am Schlossparkufer glühte. Ich hielt eine Langzeitbelichtung des grossen Schleusenwehrs mit Sonnenaufgang im Hintergrund fest und hab euch diese schönen Bilder natürlich zum Anschauen mitgebracht.
