A soft shimmer of dawn had slipped across the sky and pulled me into a slow and steady stride. I moved through the morning like someone carrying a quiet secret, still tired from the soggy and strangely warm days and nights that refused to let the winter in. I walked only a short round through the palace gardens, letting my breath settle as I practiced calm breathing at the carp pond. The scene felt like a gentle story from a familiar book and on the way back I could not ignore how the construction site lighting around the heating power plant almost glowed festively. I told myself that even small sights sometimes stirred a spark, the way a single candle brightened a dim room. I did not rush, I simply watched and enjoyed.

Ein sanfter Schimmer der Morgendämmerung hatte sich über den Himmel gelegt und mich zu einem langsamen, gleichmäßigen Schritt veranlasst. Ich bewegte mich durch den Morgen wie jemand, der ein stilles Geheimnis mit sich trägt, noch müde von den feuchten und seltsam warmen Tagen und Nächten, die den Winter nicht hereinlassen wollten. Ich machte nur eine kurze Runde durch den Schlossgarten und ließ meinen Atem zur Ruhe kommen, während ich am Karpfenteich ruhiges Atmen übte. Die Szene wirkte wie eine sanfte Geschichte aus einem vertrauten Buch, und auf dem Rückweg konnte ich nicht übersehen, wie die Baustellenbeleuchtung rund um das Heizkraftwerk fast schon irgendwie festlich leuchtete. Ich sagte mir, dass selbst kleine Anblicke manchmal einen Funken entfachen können, so wie eine einzelne Kerze einen dunklen Raum erhellt. Ich hatte es nicht eilig, ich schaute einfach zu und genoss es.
