A cold damp gray November morning had settled over the city, yet I felt a quiet spark as I stepped onto the familiar Mierendorffinsel loop. I wandered along the shore where I always practiced breath and meditation exercises, letting the still surface steady my thoughts like a calm companion. I did not rush and I did not pretend the day was anything other than ordinary, but that simplicity made the moment feel real. I carried a fresh piece from the Wall of Fame in my camera, a small reminder that even on uneventful days something vivid could cut through the fog like a bright brushstroke across concrete. As I moved along the path, I felt the story of the morning settle around me with soft alliteration and subtle strength, something I could share because I had lived it.
Ein kalter feuchter grauer Novembermorgen lag über der Stadt und doch spürte ich einen leisen Funken auf der vertrauten Mierendorffinselrunde. Ich ging am Ufer entlang, wo ich wie immer meine Atem und Meditationsübungen machte und die ruhige Fläche meine Gedanken beruhigte wie ein stiller Gefährte. Ich hetzte nicht und tat nicht so als wäre der Tag etwas anderes als schlicht, doch gerade das machte ihn echt. In meiner Kamera trug ich ein frisches piece von der Wall of Fame, ein kleiner Beweis dafür dass auch an ereignislosen Tagen etwas Lebendiges wie ein heller Pinselstrich durch den Nebel schneiden konnte. Während ich weiterging legte sich die Geschichte des Morgens mit sanfter Alliteration und stiller Stärke um mich und wurde zu etwas das ich teilen konnte weil ich es erlebt hatte.
