It was a fresh Tuesday morning, the kind that feels like it could go either way. I had to step in for a colleague who’d fallen ill, so there was no time to second-guess or delay. Commuting early had its perks, like fewer people, more space to breathe. I was mentally prepping to tackle a control desk I hadn’t set up myself. Despite the challenge, the show went off without a hitch, and by the end, another happy customer was on their way. Afternoon rain caught us by surprise, sneaking in while the warmth of summer still lingered. It wasn’t enough to dampen the day, though; I hit my 5K steps minimum, keeping up my momentum. Earlier that morning, I had glanced at the sky and noticed this peculiar, almost runelike symbol etched in the clouds—a small moment of magic to carry through the day.
