My last 28v battery for my Milwaukee battery tools just died. The 28v system is pretty old. It got replaced with an 18v brushless system, which was lighter and just as powerful. I ended up with both systems, kept the new 18v stuff in my work ute, and just used the older 28v stuff at home it has handy not having to unpack the car to do small jobs at home. I ended up giving lots of my 18v stuff to my son when I stopped working.
I even have my dad old hand tools! Maybe I should go back to using them and save buying a replacement battery.
I will see how long I last without a 28v battery and / or buying some more 18v tools. I am so used to having everything on hand.
