A Day Full of Simple Joys
Woke up pretty early today, which is always a bit of a struggle, but I felt good about it. First thing I did was my skincare routine. Nothing crazy, just a quick cleanse and moisturizer to wake up my skin. It’s become one of those little habits that actually makes a big difference.
For breakfast, I kept it simple—scrambled eggs. Nothing special, just the basics, but they hit the spot. Scrambled eggs are one of those things you can always count on to start the day off right.
After that, I helped my mom in the kitchen. We made curry pakoras—crispy, spicy little fritters that are just so addictive. It’s always fun cooking with her, and the pakoras turned out perfect. We ended up snacking on them for a while, and honestly, they were so good I had to hold myself back from eating too many.
The rest of the day was pretty chill. Got my part-time work done, which felt good to check off the list. Afterward, I made a quick stop to pick up some Pani Puri for my grandma. She’s obsessed with them, so I knew it would make her day. Seeing her smile when I handed them over was the best part of the day. Little things like that really make everything feel worth it.
All in all, it was a pretty solid day. Nothing too crazy, just good food, time with family, and a few small gestures that made everything feel nice and cozy. Looking forward to doing it all again tomorrow.
Looks like you had a beautiful day. Stay happy!
