My Actifit Report Card: December 2 2024: Harvesting of cassava tubers.

in Actifit4 months ago

I wish there is a way out from stress I swear!!

Ahh, today, I was jam-packed with heavy work inside bush all alone. Thank God I didn't sustain any injury or fall victim of any prey.

This report am about giving took place today at a village known as Umuibe located along Obingwa local government area of Abia state. You may be wondering what my movement and report is all about, let me gist you a bit.

In the early morning of today, immediately as I woke up, I took matchet, how and bags and tie them in my motorcycle and left house without eating any food and I didn't abandon food intentionally, rather, there was none at the moment so I took some coins with me to the farm in other to purchase maybe snacks whenever am feeling hunger.

I reached the farm by 6:30am. I left early because the level of sun in this part of Africa now easily burn skin. Therefore, there is need to work with time. I started uprooting my cassava tubers immediately and the challenging part of it is that the ground is already hard so I found it so difficult and stressful uprooting cassava tubers. But finally, I was able to harvest upto one and half bags of cassava.

Something else that gave me joy is that none of the cassava tubers spoiled. Adding to my joy is the size of both tubers And stems. View with me..

After harvesting, I gathered them outside the farm to where I packed my motorcycle nearby a house and started packing them inside bags.

Done with packing, I tied them in my motorcycle and went back home. At that moment, I was feeling extremely hungry because the only thing i was able to find around the farm is fried groundnut.

My people, that's all for today, let me retire now for a regeneration. Am excessively tired. Goodnight friends.

All the images above are all mine and I took them by myself both inside and outside my farm.
