Yesterday I made it back to my hometown. The last part of the flight was pretty cool. It's almost like the old movie 'The Fog'
I think Sam remembered me!
We were just in time for the sunset over my favorite hills.
Then we quickly went to visit some of the people who left too early. That cemetery is beautiful.
That final resting place also has an amazing view.
We finished the day with a short night walk with Sam. Clearly, it was a transition day, with one more flight on the next day for a short week getaway. More on that in the next few days.
