Still plenty of sun yesterday, and we were fully back in our weekday routine, including multiple breaks in the yard which is still colorful.
When we started our daily walk behind the front yard, I was surprised to see vibrant foliage colors in the distance, so we went in. It was indeed much better than I thought, and with the early sunset light, it was even better.
Kaia didn't mind the pre-walk in this small forest.
And Le Chat quickly joined us.
"Come on, head bump..."
We moved on to the neighborhood streets. The fall colors are really coming out now.
Somebody was walking their dog at the same time, but they didn't seem to control it very well. So we didn't follow them in the forest and continued further. A good view on the sunset was the bonus.
When we finally did go into the forest, it was getting really dark.
After our walk, I went for an easy run, about 6k, to prepare for Sunday half marathon. And that was it for the day's activities.
