I've been going through some rough times recently. My mother passed away and named me the executor of her will. There has been a lot of difficult feelings to work through with everyone.
Things are feeling much better now and I believe the new year will be a time for me to get back to a more normal lifestyle.
An interesting thing I saw on the disc golf course today:
I think this is some type of fungus. Perhaps a slime mold or something. I've heard people call it Witches Butter.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, my friend. I don't know how old you are, but going through something like this is difficult, especially what happened to me. I lost both my mother and father when I was very young, and even though more than 40 years have passed, I still remember them and wish I could hug them again.

How do I know this? Yes, because my mother just passed away a few months ago from cancer,this is a difficult time.

I've heard many stories of family issues when someone passes. I guess it would be too much to ask for it all to go smoothly. It makes sense that the executor might experience more issues that the others, no matter how fair they try to be. It really takes a strong, brave person to do that.
