I played a practice round out at a difficult eighteen-hole disc golf course. I got there in the morning before it got too warm. I had to search a bit for one of the new discs that I bought recently because it was not coming out smoothly and going too far to the right. Oftentimes, there is a bit of a break-in period until a newer disc gets a more consistent release for me. Luckily, I managed to find it both times it landed in the rough.
I scored a +15 on the course, which was okay based on using a new disc and taking a few risky throws. I did manage to par a hole that I often get a double bogey on, so that was nice.
I was playing with my purple, Mamba which is a bit more stable than the pink Mamba that I lost. I need to hit a few more trees with it or something, lol. I might try to find a lighter, Mamba to replace the pink one if I can't get the purple one to fly how I like. I think I just need to get used to how it flies.
