I played a couple of rounds of disc golf today out at my favorite course. (Actually, I have a lot of favorite courses, but I tend to play this one the most.)
I scored a +3 on the eighteen hole round and a +2 on the nine hole round. It felt better than yesterday, but I feel like I have a way to go still especially in my forehand throw.
I signed up for an A-Tier event that happens in a couple of months. There are over 600 people signed up, and it will be the biggest disc golf tournament that I have experienced as yet. I hope that my arm will be better by then. It seems to be improving a lot each day.
Someone was working on the river bank when we were playing the disc golf course today:
The heavy earth moving equipment was right on top of hole seven's tee pad. Luckily, it moved by the time we wanted to play that hole.
On hole eight, the wind was picking up a bit, and I threw a stable disc out over the river side and parked the basket for a birdie on a backhand line. My friend threw a forehand after me but got it a bit too low and inside towards the river. It skipped over the riverbank into the rough. It was going slow, so we thought we would get it back, but after searching for some time, we could not find it. The river was flowing high, and it might have skipped down into the water.
My friend spent the rest of the round lamenting his lost disc. I felt for him having had the same experience happen to me on hole eight when the foul wind blows.

These images are computer generated AI images:
I used the StarryAI program to generate the above images from the photography of the woodpecker that took today. I'm not sure why the AI thinks that the birds feet should look like that. There is a bit of an odd feel to the images.
Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S22 Ultra. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher...

With AI some awesome images can be created but still the ones we click and capture brings the best of photography experience. Like the images you shared.
I love that AI photo of a bird. So beautiful and colorful. Nice to see you get hit above 10k walks once again.
AI image generation can do some interesting things. I've been having fun playing around with different settings. When I'm out playing disc golf it is easy to get 10k walks.
Yeah, I have once tried it too with an app called Imagine. Which app did you use? Is it a subscription one?
The app I used is called StarryAI and you can get five free image credits per day. (I don't use them all and have a ton of credits to use if I want to go on a creative binge, lol.) I use the Andriod phone version. There are some Pro options that would be nice to unlock but I'm not sure if it would be worth it for me.
Okay, that's nice. I will check it out👍
wow, this is the first time I see this bird so beautifully at close range. Extraordinary
your golf course today looks so nice and clean the grass is also so neat, I'm happy to hear every progress you play golf especially you registered for a big tournament I hope you manage to get your best score,
the color of the bird is also very beautiful, is it a bird that often cuts wood? at first glance it looks like the color of the birds in my area

Glad to hear you're back in the game.
At the same time, you presented a picture of a very beautiful bird to us. We know this bird as woodpecker in Bangladesh.
Hope you have a great day and enjoy a wonderful game, amazing pictures of bird brother.
Glad to see you again playing disc the man is back on track, you have captured very beautiful pictures of the bird @lightsplasher
You are on your way to doing better and better @lightsplasher especially with your game in your favorite field, your game was very fluid and I have a feeling that well, in the future in a few days, you will do better, we will see it that way for sure. I wish you much success and I am very grateful for your positive evaluations of my publications. Good luck and success from Venezuela @lightsplasher
The best part of our year and you can tell by looking at your grass in the first shot! What a nice experience playing on the course. Sounds like the wind was really taking them away today. Did you ever find yours? Did your friend find his?
There is a big difference between what I see in the woodpecker picture and what Al sees. While brilliant in color and the perfection is almost too good. I am not sure how I feel about it.
Hope all is well with you!
It was hot for one day but has been cooler again since the vacation. Being out on the disc golf course again was a lot of fun. My friend never found his disc but it might turn up. Once the river goes back down again it will be visible if it went into the water. The underbrush might die back a bit once we get some hotter weather. I never came close to losing any disc this round and parked my disc by the basket on the same hole.
I think that the bird did have some bright colors on his head that were not visible in the picture because his head was turned a bit. The AI program might have recognized the bird and found better images of it. There are a lot of settings to play around with and it's fun to see what the program can come up with.
very nice display of birds that have quite beautiful colors. have a good day my best friend.
