I set a personal best today out on the Gold disc golf course. I would have done a bit better but it started to warm up and I had an understable disc get away from me and had to play out of the rough and take a triple bogey.
This morning it was a bit frosty but the footing was great the entire round. I like it better than when it is wet and muddy. I was crushing my throws pretty hard and getting some nice distance on them for me anyway.
I was expecting a cold round and dressed warm but the sun came out and I took off some clothing layers. My friction gloves came in handy at the start of the round. On hole one I made a great throw on an over 600-foot downhill par three hole and made par. After that, I made par on hole two.
I ended up with a win in my division. It surprises me because when I was younger I was that guy that always got picked last in team sports.
We don't often get a view like this across the Sound:
It was just gorgeous today out on the disc golf course:

It has been proved scientifically those who are living in nature or forested area are very calm and healthy people. Priceless pictures such good images.
It always makes me feel great to be out in nature. I think the fresh air is part of it but there sure is a calming effect.
Wow! I like the view of the mountain through those trees, it looks relaxing.
Btw, congrats on winning your division, it only shows that your previous practices are working well for you. Keep it up!
Thank you, it sure was great to be out on the disc golf course yesterday.
Yeah, and be physically active. Have a great day ahead :)
Congrats ! I know that had to have felt good.
I don't really know how you could not be good as much practicing as you do. You obviously have a passion for it.
Beautiful day !
Thanks! It sure is nice to be out on the course. I think it is possible to practice a lot but still not be competitive. I feel like I am lucky because I generally have been healthy. As you get older it is harder to keep up with the younger players and it helps to have some age related divisions.
Those are some awesome pictures.. nice job winning the division too
Thank you. It helps to play in the age related divisions.
Yeah I figured that out in that tournament I played in Albuquerque

Wow, I'm glad to hear that you are the first in your division, congratulations for your best achievements this time, I am always amazed by your really beautiful photos, the views of trees and snow hills are really very elegant
Thank you. It does feel nice to play the difficult course better than I had in the past. I was throwing with more power yesterday and feeling fine.
Wow such a beuty of your area.
Amazing.
There sure is a lot of natural beauty around here. It changes from day to day and usually there is a lot of moisture in the air so you don't get as nice a view of the distance.
Nature Yang looks quite amazing, thanks for sharing this beautiful post.
