My friend and I played a couple of rounds of disc golf out at the easy course by the river. I won the first round at a +1 to +3 and lost the second round at a +5 to a +3.
I missed a few throws in the second round while throwing too close to trees. It was getting a bit windy and I was trying to account for the wind drift by did not make the gaps.
I also realized why I had decided not to bag the soft gummy putter. It is really difficult to control it in the wind. I think I might be better off just focusing on getting better at controlling my release angles on the discs that I know better for now.
What is going on here?:
We ran across this sight out on the disc golf course. Maybe someone got kicked out of somewhere? Maybe someone got tired of their books? Did stuff fall off a truck?
It's a mystery. Nothing looked particularly interesting to me or my friend. I'm more of an e-book kind of guy and have most of my books on my smartphone at this point.

Interesting.......maybe it's the latest in those little private libraries that are popping up everywhere! We have one on our dead end old logging road, ironically.

you read a lot of books
It's very difficult to play golf when the wind is blowing harder, sometimes the ball doesn't go in the targeted direction. :)
That's an odd thing to find. Maybe the case was stolen and someone just went through it there, hoping for something valuable.... but finding only books.
Now.... books are valuable in a special way, but they won't bring much on the street....LOL
it seems a little difficult if we play golf when it's windy, so it makes you lose in the second round and hopefully you always win in the next rounds later. @lightsplasher 😁👍

which at first glance looks like a small dictionary, I think it's a book that was intentionally thrown away, if it fell from a truck was it found on the side of the road? I hope it doesn't rain there so the book doesn't get wet
