Today's Homesteading Workout was a bit less intense than yesterday's. However, I added a more intense version of a move I failed to note previously. It's the Squeeze & Twist.
Socks and other small items provide a quick hand workout (mostly squeezing, less twisting). But if you think wringing out wet clothing isn't much of a workout, try it with jeans, towels, and heavy work shirts. Oh my! By the time that first load made it to the clothesline my hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders were screaming for mercy.
My Gardening Workout was lengthy (and sweaty) but mostly low intensity today. Picked a lot of beans. There were overhead stretches (beans hanging from arch), and some squats (beans low on a fence).
Other than the aforementioned arm-killing Squeeze & Twist, my toughest potential exercise came when I was about to lug a 5 gallon gas can from my house up to the road. Decided to walk up, retrieve the wagon, pull it back, then pull the wagon loaded with the heavy gas can back up front. That added a decent number of steps to my day.
Why haul the gas can? Well ... I drove home on empty on Thursday and I was afraid I wouldn't have enough fuel to make it to the gas station tomorrow. Yeah. Dumb move.

You are so right about the squeezing of laundry! As for the gas; I've done the same thing, and then forgot to put the gas in from the can. Got in the car and had to go to work, and prayed the whole time. Fortunately, it's mostly downhill to the gas station, but it's still a bit to town, lol!
You did well with your 5213 @actifit steps for the day! Take care and I hope your muscles recover with sleep!
