Exploring a different part of the park. Beautiful sunset in the background. The kiddos insisted that I had to take a photo here. LOL!
Woo hooo!!!! This week is turning out better than when it started on Monday. Today is a public holiday because of Deepawali or Diwali which is the Indian festival of lights. I slept quite a bit today and then in the evening we headed back to Putrajaya for a ride! It felt good to get my heart pumping.
Last couple of days I have been feeling extremely tired as I am still trying to get over the sore throat infection. Plus with the kiddos schedule changing and work I didn't manage to get any exercise on Tuesday and Wednesday either. So today was a good change and break for me too because work has been very busy.
Tomorrow is Friday and I just can't wait for the weekend. Well the weekend is practically here since I have taken tomorrow off! I have a four day weekend! Bliss!
The boys!
Today we decided to head back again to Taman Botani Putrajaya and explore the other half that we didn't get to last week. Today started out sunny with blue skies and then got hotter towards late morning. We got up at about 7 today and the plan was to go cycling in the morning but little Murtabak did not close the outside gate and one of our dogs Skippy ran out of our home and took off like the wind.
So we wasted quite a bit of time trying to get him home and after a while we gave up and went to grab some breakfast. When we arrived home, Skippy was standing in front of our gate waiting to go in. So I guess that when he was satisfied exploring all the different roads and side street around our neighbourhood then he decided to come home. I am just glad that he did as we could not catch him.
Then later in the afternoon it started raining. Yup, the weather has been pretty extreme lately. Either really hot sun or pouring rain. He headed out to Putrajaya at about 5 pm and realised that the park closes at 7. So we assembled the bikes as fast as we could and zoomed off. Whilst we were cycling, it was still drizzling a little but getting out in the fresh air after rain was sooo good!
This new part of the park was mostly sand trail which was quite nice to ride on
We passed by a lot of people with their fishing poles!
Messing around a bit before heading home
We got back to the cars at about 7 pm and it turned very dark quite quickly. We had to use our bike lights to pack up before heading for dinner. I am just hoping that I get over this exhaustion soonest. I am planning to sleep early but it has been tough because the crypto market has been so hot. Anyway, I am ready to hit the sack in another 10-15 minutes. By the way, if you do know of any other places that we can go cycling in KL, I would love for you to share!
Thanks for dropping by my little space! Good night!
Xoxo,
Khim
p/s DOT is pumping! I am so excited! Parachain slot auctions here we come!
pp/s I just got reminded by my sister that today is our 15th anniversary! Hahaha! both Hubby and I totally forgot about it. Hubby is not the type to celebrate these kind of days but I guess it would be nice to celebrate the fact that we have been married for 15 years! LOL!
