The new year has come, but the question is, where do we stand?

Some dreams that could not be fulfilled,
Some prayers that were soaked in tears,
Some people who were ours, but now only remain in memories.

Time has taken away a lot from us, but it has not broken us because what is broken and can be mended is actually alive.

This new year is demanding from us
That we make a promise to ourselves,
That we will no longer give room to disappointment in our hearts,
That we will now nurse every wound with patience,
That we will no longer hurt anyone's heart with our words
