I was listening to a YouTube video while reading Hive posts and after it ended YouTube played me a song by Cream called Sunshine of Your Love. This is a classic rock tune with a killer riff.
But as great as it is, it's not my favorite Cream song. My favorite Cream song is White Room. Guitarist Eric Clapton who makes almost everyone's 10 best guitarists list shines here.
The first verse has Clapton just doing the rhythm guitar. By the second verse, lead guitar flourishes are overdubbed after each vocal line. By the third verse Clapton is lead overdubbed the entire time. But then after that, we have a killer outro guitar solo lasting almost a full minute. With perfect use of the wah wah petal, we have a psychedelic hard rock guitar masterpiece!
My Activity
was not that much. I'm sick this week, since Monday. Fever, headache, stuffiness, coughing, the whole enchilada. So moving kinda slow. Not that I would like to be outdoors anyway. We had snow. It hasn't been non-freezing in days. I'd be inside even if I were not ill.
So I hope you're all staying healthy out there. Never take your good days for granted. Don't get too depressed about bad days, this too shall pass.
