We got to see my wife’s grandson today and had friends over for lunch. I might see my granddaughter over the weekend. Seen lots of photos of her which I am not allowed to share. Helicopter parents drive me nuts - got two in our small family.
Always fun to have some young ones around on the day, hope you do get to see your granddaughter. All families have one or two !LOLZ

My granddaughter is over 2. Not held her yet. Helicopter mother will not allow that.
Bad parenting that might backfire when your granddaughter is older, sad to miss out on the formative years.
The young lady will be a nightmare when she goes to school - no plans for pre-school
Parenting is so different, my nieces son has never had a hair cut, 2024 in grade RR, 2025 grade R, not terms I was familiar with, checked for myself at the time.
Much has changed, safest to keep quiet than rock the boat of late!
