Thanksgiving is possibly my favorite holiday. It means time off from the daily grind, time to think about what’s important, and a fabulous opportunity to spend time with some of the most awesome people in my life.
Today was spent tidying the house with my daughters, making pies, prepping food and taking a nice walk, and it felt so great to have a day to just focus on family.
Here are a few pictures from the day.
I really enjoy the food production and presentation part of Thanksgiving.
Also the decorating!
Several of us went out for a nice stroll between lunch and dinner. That and all the moving around to clean house and prep food is how I racked up my steps today.
But it was cold and the others went in after a while, so I only got a picture of my husband, the survivor
All in all, it was a wonderful day, and we even got everyone gathered around for a picture!

What a wonderful holiday I feel you had with your family. The table looked great, and I noticed my favorite pies on display. I love Thanksgiving also and was thankful that my small family was able to attend.
