the seongsu shopping experience started with just window shopping.
yes, just window shopping.
well first of all, as what i could see, seongsu is a bustling shopping district in seoul.
from day one, we have been using seongsu station as a leap off point of our daily activities.
and i have featured onion cafe in the previous post, that cafe is also in seongsu.
and today in our last full day in korea, we window shopped in seongsu.
first, the area is full of cafes.
very pretty cafes in fact, like this one with blooming flower decors at the rooftop.
and restaurants all over the neighborhood.
the district is really packed with food.
but what we were here for this time was the fashion.
here were some of the shops we went in.
new balance
a good shopping experience needs good shoes.
i actually do not know what the hype is with my friend group recently but they were all looking forward to having a pair of new balance shoes.
so i looked around and here were the once i liked.
i did not purchase any but if these were just in my budget, i would have bought them in a breeze.
this little shop by the way had a small portion with a montage of how the shoe came to be.
the big frames were very well curated.
and yes, there was an area with a frame of your self.
a very large full body mirror, i couldn't help but take a selfie.
it was a bit cold that day so i had to wear a sweater, but seoul has a really weird weather where it gets hot mid day; thus, the shorts.
blue elephant
eyewear!
a pair of glasses!
i was a bit underwhelmed, the shop was on the 2nd and 3rd floor of this undecorated building.
but how underwhelming it was outside, was the opposite inside.
just look at that room!
they could have just made a plain white room with all the eyeglasses on display, but they said no, decorate the room well as well.
here was one i loved!
since the day i wore graded specks, i dived in completely to clear glasses.
sadly, they do not offer grades.
and to be honest, the glasses seemed made for people with small faces.
mine was not small enough for the korean standards sadly, it was tight and they do not offer size adjustments.
so here i am again, empty handed.
musinsa standard
this shop had great mens' clothes!
very very good fitting clothes!
impressed!
we took the most time inside this shop, and i had the most fun time trying out their jackets.
if money was not an issue, i would have bought a single jacket in three colors.
i ended up buying just one.
i would have bought more if they had my size, but i guess most korean men have the same size as me.
here is @ohlnwwlknat, tired after all the shopping made.
as a final verdict, seongsu is a shopping district for the young bold and adventurous.
it has it all, from head to toe!
if you happen to be in seoul, try checking out this shopping district.
as always, AMPING KANUNAY!

New balance shoes are very high-quality my friend!👍
I have been wearing them for years, I prefer the ones that are real leather .
Are they expensive in South Korea?
