My wife has wanted a new tile backsplash for the kitchen for several years, so we are finally in the process of getting one installed. The guy doing the work had to take off early for a family matter and so since he won't be back for a couple days it was time to get the kitchen cleaned up and ready to use over the weekend.
First thing was to move all equipment and working materials to an out of the way area. Then I vacuumed the counters to get the grit off them before wiping them down with soapy water. Then I had to sweep the floor. Finally I mopped the floor and vacuumed the rugs. It's the cleanest the kitchen has been all week. Later I spent 35 minutes on the treadmill.

How is Brownie doing? We had to babysit our 'grand-dog' for three weeks in November. She is a Rhodesion Ridgeback/Dachshund mix. She looks like a very buff and muscular weiner dog! She is adorable! Anyway, give Brownie a hug for me!

I had to laugh, trying to picture a buff and muscular wiener dog. Brownie is her same wonderful self; she immediately took to guy doing the tile work and they are fast friends now.

All of her front chest is pure muscle and her little hind legs look like super muscular chicken thighs. It's the only description I can think of, lol! She is full of energy and quite the little girl!
