Last winter squash in before the frost. Tomorrow will be the big harvest day to save what I can. Went to the garlic farm and waited in line for almost 2 hrs but got 6 new varieties so I will have 13 growing. Woman died among the vendor booths while we were in line but they brought her back and life flight landed and took her away.

You went great pumpkin hunting and I went great garlic hunting.
I had waited in line for far too long and the woman in front of us had gone over as a medic but came back with the reports so we got the full run down. I saw the victim teeter through with her oxygen tank on her hip and tubes on her face earlier and wondered at her state, apparently correctly.
I’m just glad someone was there to help her!😇👍😊
Holy crap that garlic is to die for! Some day I want to properly plant at least even a proper variety of garlic.
It's still quite warm here but I am already dreaming about building some kind of makeshift coldframe for my own pumkins/squash to maybe squeeze a few more fruits out of them.
There is still time to order a pound of garlic to plant. $30/lb will plant from 50 to 100 cloves depending on size of heads.
