Zagreb, Croatia, on Saturday, May the 18th 2024. It's one of the highlights of my running year. Backyard Ultra event at the forest called Dotrščina, nicknamed Dotka.
I'll tell you more about the event and how I managed in the following days. For now, suffice to say, it was fun, a walk in the park. 7 laps of 6.7 kilometers on a demanding course with 180 meters of vertical climb. Seven was my limit for the day which is equaled personal best and more than a marathon ran. Satisfied.
@actifit count was good enough to cross the bar for day 18, #poprzeczka done. Two days of rest now.

Do you guys usually have somewhere that every runners meet before starting the race?
This format of the event, backyard ultra, is a specific one, I will explain it in the event report.
Anyways, this place, Dotka, is a meeting point of local group of runners. They meet here, and run, all the time throughout the year. Winter too.
