Last year in October, we lost power during that month alone - 7 times! There are trees here-big trees and they aren't always strong due to wind storms, the elements and bugs like termites. Maple trees are not known for strength of wood, therefore, when a storm blows in, it often blows the trees down. All of the utilities are above ground on poles so falling trees= downed power lines. It will never change because the power company will not invest in underground utilities.

Yeah. Back then I thought United States has their electric lines underground. It's selective.
Here, electric companies will cut the power without any clear reasons. Lol
