The road crews returned today to finish the โchip and sealโ re-paving of our road. They had not returned Monday as they had said they would, and when I went to run a few errands, I saw ๐ why! They had been busy with North and South Pass Roads. They finished it all today! Even the little road leading to the Gold Mine Trail, was clothed in a new surface!
Now, we have to watch for black tar when hiking ๐ฅพ up to the trailhead. ๐
Because it was going to be another scorcher today, we opted to go back to Bellingham to pick up another tub for the garage re-organization. When we came out of the store, it was pushing 95 degrees Fahrenheit! ๐ฅต๐ That called for a mocha frappe! They are a sure fire way to cool down in weather like this!!
Cot looks like the heat has him units grip! He was enjoying the air conditioning and a nap on the bed. I disturbed him, lol! ๐น

Thank you @funshee! I don't do heat very well, and Cot had the right idea! It's looking like another week or so of this and then hopefully it will cool a bit. I've learned though, never to rely on the forecast as we are nestled between a saltwater bay and a mountain range, and it can change in 5 minutes with no warning! The only thing they tend to get right is the heatwaves! It'd be nice if they were wrong for once, lol! Take care and thank you for visiting! !LADY

He is such a spoiled baby, lol! He loves the air conditioner; the waterbed and a good fire in the wood stove come winter! He actually sits by and tries to help you light the fire! We call him a pyro kitty! Thanks for stopping by and take care! !LADY

For kitties, it's like insulation; keeps them cool when it's hot, keeps them warm when it's cold. Cot is just ridiculous! I've found him sitting in front of the air outlet for the mini split, with the cold air ruffling his fur and he sleeps under the wood stove with a 900 degree fire inside of it! I've warned him of spontaneous combustion, but does he listen? Anyway, kitties are unique! Love ya much!๐ค๐๐ธ๐
