This traditional blowing instrument/horn was used in the past mainly by shepherds to send out signals. It's not easy at all to get a sound out of it if you don't know exactly how to blow on it, let alone turn the sounds into something melodic.

ye... it's basically a metal didgeridoo/ trombone :)
awakening sound...
time for the sheep revolution! :D
Awesome sound, the closest I've heard that is similar is the alpenhorn!😄
Nice to see this tradition continues to this day my friend!👍😄
It reminds me of an alpenhorn. In Leavenworth, Wa, there is a hotel called the Alpenhorn, where every day at 8 AM, they bring them out and serenade the town. It's amazing to watch and hear.
Thank you for sharing this!
They have those too, made from wood, it's slightly different from the alpenhorn because it's not curved at the end.
But still, very similar! Do they sound like an alpenhorn? Have you heard one before!
Yes they sound similar it's just that they have to be held up while the alpenhorn can be laid on the ground.
I see! Interesting! Thanks for answering.😊
