The same steam train I post photos of from time to time, this time on the move. The engine is cool, but apart from that, there's not much to experience or see. This is a one-time experience, mainly for those not living in the area or for tourists from other countries.
Very cool! There is nothing like the sound and smell of a wood fired or even a coal fired steam train! I’ve hauled passengers in live steam some years ago, albeit a scaled down but rideable version. It was awesome. I would love the opportunity to run a full sized engine someday. I guess that’s a bucket list item. Thanks for sharing!
