When you don't care about anyone else around you and you have to show it with your expert parking skills... I understand that sometimes you just have to park in some places where you'll inconvenience pedestrians a bit or some cars in traffic, it's because we have too many cars and not enough parking spaces, I've done it myself multiple times, but never ever on the pedestrian crossing.

At that time of the day/night nobody gonna give him a ticket, thats prob why they didn't care where they parked.
Over here people just park wherever they want to as well….
