The season is getting to me. Spent the morning doing investing accounts after a busy options expiry time.
Took the train with my wife down to Chatswood to finish her shopping. Got there at lunch time - was not too busy. 3 young ladies playing carols on their wind instruments
Liked the combination of messages in the tea shop - Christmas and the serpent from the Dreaming
Back to the more traditional - brass band from the Salvation Army playing carols
A bit more traditional - nutcracker soldiers at the entrance to David Jones Department store. Chose to leave the old man in image - he is from time past too.
We had lunch in a Hong Kong restaurant that I always buy duck from. Was busy. Got to say food was average - sloppy noodle dish with too much sauce. Was good to sit and listen. Did buy roast duck
A little train trouble on the way home. Delays had us waiting a bit. When we got a train, I got out one stop early to walk - got the steps in

Apartment is part of a grand old house - no idea how many apartments there are now.
Dinner: Peking Duck - spring onions from the garden grown from offcuts. Pop the root section in some water and in some soil a week or so later.
