Was a late night. Rained a lot after I went to sleep and pretty bleak in the morning. Forecast was for rain to hang around till the afternoon - sky was not telling me that. Went out for a loop ride with no rain gear

Found orchids budding right down at Gerroa Rd intersection - a bit higher than I have seen before - bonus
Chose the direction of ride to get shelter from the wind on the way out and down across. Got the benefit of a stonking downwind ride back home
Friends coming over for dinner - had some nice veal cutlets. Decided to do sous vide - season the cutlets - salt, ground pepper and Texas rub. Sous vide at 130F for 2 hours
Sear both sides on BBQ to finish - leave resting time
Served with BBQ braised baby potatoes and carrots and fresh beans

Totally enjoying the post until I saw the cutlets ....... jealous! so I grabbed me a carrot!!
Cutlets were good - different cooking approach worked well. Enjoyed the carrots too - also done differently.
