Good morning and greetings to the entire Hive and Actifit community 👋🏽, I'm @argos-sw and I wanted to tell you a little about my day.
Mi día fue bastante entretenido, me levanté a las 7 am para prepararme para un curso que estoy viendo de repostería, aunque mi clase se termino moviendo a la 1 pm por unos inconvenientes, aproveche el tiempo para caminar un poco por mi barrio y para limpiar mi casa un poco, llegada la tarde y tras almorzar, me fui al lugar del curso y comencé mi clase, en ella nos enseñaron a preparar el almíbar para la torta 3 leches y el merengue para su decoración, también nos enseñaron a preparar mermelada de fresa para decorar.
My day was quite entertaining. I woke up at 7 am to prepare for a baking course I'm taking. Although my class ended up being moved to 1 pm due to some issues, I took advantage of the time to walk around my neighborhood and clean my house a bit. In the afternoon, after lunch, I went to the course location and started my class. They taught us how to prepare the syrup for the tres leches cake and the meringue for its decoration. They also taught us how to prepare strawberry jam for decoration.
El biscocho lo preparamos un día antes en nuestras casas, y en mi caso me equivoqué al unir la mezcla de las yemas con la de las claras utilizando una batidora eléctrica, por eso me quedo líquida la mezcla y tuve que corregir utilizando más harina de la que debía, por ello el biscocho me quedo más como una torta normal, pero de igual manera absorbió el almíbar y también quedó con buen sabor, me toca corregir eso en mis futuras prácticas, al llegar le di un baño a mi gata y le lave su collar, tras terminar de secarla le coloque su comida y agua para que pudiera desestresarse y coloque la torta en la nevera para que enfriará, por la noche retome mis prácticas de dibujo y también jugué un poco antes de acostarme a dormir, aprendí bastante y pase un muy buen rato, fue un muy buen día ✨
We prepared the sponge cake the day before at home, and in my case, I made a mistake combining the egg yolks and whites using an electric mixer. Because of this, the mixture was too runny, and I had to correct it by using more flour than I should have. As a result, the sponge cake ended up more like a regular cake, but it still absorbed the syrup and tasted good. I need to work on that in my future practice sessions. When I got home, I gave my cat a bath and washed her collar. After drying her, I gave her food and water so she could relax, and then I put the cake in the refrigerator to cool. In the evening, I resumed my drawing practice and also played a little before going to bed. I learned a lot and had a great time. It was a very good day! ✨
