It’s the last few days leading up to my grandmother’s funeral, and like everyone else, I’ve been caught up in the preparations.
Today, I went to fit my outfit so the tailor can make the necessary adjustments. Thankfully, it’s not going to be one of those “what I ordered vs what I got” situations—fingers crossed it stays that way!
I’ll be going for the final fitting tomorrow, along with getting my hair braided.
On the bright side, I got to hang out with my siblings today. It’s been a while since we were all in the same place, with everyone scattered across different locations.
Moments like these remind me how important family is, even in times of grief.
