Cold: September 12 2024 [eng/deu]

Hello Hivers!
Anke here aka Anna-NewKey.

We've had the first cold night last night and very timely did my boiler give up the ghost for today: no heating, no hot water.
Not only that: Fridays is work-from- home-day, so it was a little nippy in the morning.

Luckily have I found a good plumber who was quick to attend and all was running again in the afternoon. A pressure part needed replacing.

I've moved over to the other side of St Neots, and still getting to know the area.

Letzte Nacht hatten wir die erste kalte Nacht und pünktlich hat mein Boiler für heute den Geist aufgegeben: keine Heizung, kein warmes Wasser.
Nicht nur das: Freitags ist Homeoffice-Tag, und für den morgen war es etwas kühl.

Zum Glück habe ich einen guten Klempner gefunden, der schnell zur Stelle war und am Nachmittag lief alles wieder. Ein Druckteil musste ausgetauscht werden.

Ich bin auf die andere Seite von St. Neots gezogen und lerne die Gegend immer noch kennen.
